Grant Childs was taken from his family and friends in a tragic car accident on August 7th while traveling in Michigan.
Grant was a great father, dedicated husband and a cherished friend to many.
There is not enough room on this page to say all the good things about him and how he impacted others with his charm, personality and sense of humor. He was as many have said "one of the good guys".
A church service in Grant's honor will be held this Saturday, August 15th at 10:00 am. We hope you are able to join us at St John XXIII Catholic Church located on 13060 Palomino Lane in Ft Myers FL, 33912. We encourage everyone to wear green for Grant's love of the Spartans.
Gateway Gives Foundation has deactivated the family fund at this time. Any further donations can be made directly to the family.
On March 1st, Gateway Gives donated and installed 4 benches and 5 picnic tables. We could not have done it without the help of David Vittur and his construction crew and the many volunteers that help sand and paint the picnic tables during our community camp out. Gateway Gives is planning additional community improvement projects in the future. If you would like to help by making a donation click here>
Gateway Gives offers volunteer opportunities. With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering are enormous to you, your family, and your community. Gateway Gives offer various types of volunteer opportunities for adults, families, children as well as college and high schoolers required to complete hours for the school.

Gives will be hosting a Community Camp Out and Movie night at the Gateway Soccer Fields. Families are invited to come pitch a tent and spend the night camping under the stars! This camping event is for everyone from the experienced to the first timers. We will have food, fun and games and activities for all. For your peace of mind we will have a Deputy on location over night for the event.
Gateway Gives would like to pay tribute to a loving father and devoted husband. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. On behalf of the family Gateway Gives has set up the Reggie Sewell Memorial Fund in his honor.
